Objective:
The project aims to derive criteria for assessing the delegability of tasks with regard to maintaining and expanding innovative capacity.

Procedure:
The starting point of delegation decisions is the trade-off between specialisation through decomposition of factual tasks and coordination of subtasks. In the project, specific criteria for evaluating the delegability of work packages are derived by determining the transaction and coordination costs incurred in delegation. The criteria will be operationalised in a next step and structured in an evaluation catalogue. Subsequently, the criteria will be validated in a pilot study and standardisation mechanisms will be developed to support efficient delegation and ensure quality standards.
