Objective:

The aim of the research project is to explore the specifics of knowledge transfer between science and business practice and to evaluate the contribution of e-learning to the extent that an e-learning supported knowledge transfer concept is to be developed and consequently can enable initial approaches to overcoming knowledge transfer barriers through e-learning.

Procedure:

The research project is divided into three phases: analysis, conception and implementation. In the analysis phase, the specifics of knowledge transfer between science and business practice are examined. The conception phase takes up the results from the analysis phase and the transfer barriers already identified. Design fields for the conception of a holistic knowledge transfer concept for the promotion of a successful knowledge transfer between science and business practice will be derived. In the implementation phase, the functionality of the holistic knowledge transfer concept will be tested. Expert discussions from the context of existing transfer projects (such as UniTransfer) will be included. Possibilities for concretization and needs for further research projects will be derived.

Duration:

The project "E-Learning and Knowledge Transfer" has been running since 03/2007.
