Research assistant

André Almeida studied mechanical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology and at Purdue University in West Lafayette, USA with a focus on product development and engineering design. He completed his master's thesis in the field of project management for engineering design teams using the lean management approach in cooperation with Daimler AG. While studying at university he worked as an undergraduate mentor and gained practical experience during internships at Robert Bosch GmbH, Daimler AG, AVL List GmbH, and ArcelorMittal SA.

Since 2017 he has been a research fellow in the Department of Innovation and Technology Management at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology and a visiting researcher at Fraunhofer ISI.
