Objective:

The aim of this working group is to provide recommendations for action in dealing with knowledge management and its introduction. Through long-term cooperation between science and corporate practice, this working group should provide an exchange platform for companies and achieve continuity in knowledge practice. The mix of companies from different industries has proven to be very fruitful for the discussions and solution approaches and shall therefore be further strived for and expanded.

Procedure:

Participating companies contribute their specific issues to the working group through contributions to the working sessions as well as through surveys at each working group meeting. Available research results and solution approaches are presented and discussed in the working sessions. From the combination of scientific findings and practice-oriented questions, a catalog of measures is derived that shows an efficient way to select, introduce and implement knowledge management activities in corporate practice in line with strategy.

Duration:

The Knowledge Practice Working Group was successfully carried out in the period from 03/2007 to 11/2007 with the participation of five companies.
